Support the Launch of The Swimming Book of the Five Rings
From the very beginning, my goal with this blog has been to share ideas, insights, and lessons from the world of swimming freely and openly. I believe knowledge, whether it’s technical, strategic, or spiritual, should be accessible to anyone passionate about the water. That’s why I’ve kept all content here free, without subscriptions or paywalls.
Now, I’m taking the next big step: bringing my book, The Swimming Book of the Five Rings, into the world. Inspired by Miyamoto Musashi’s timeless classic, this project reimagines his teachings for the modern swimmer, blending stroke mastery, strategy, and spirit into a guide for those chasing excellence in and out of the pool.
But here’s the truth: self-publishing a book is no small task. Between editing, design, production, and promotion, the costs add up quickly. As an independent author, I’m funding this journey on my own, and this is where you can make a real difference.
If you’ve found value in the ideas shared here and would like to see this book become a reality, I invite you to consider making a donation. Your support will go directly toward:
-
Self-publishing costs – Cover design, formatting, editing.
-
Production – Turning the manuscript into a polished, professional book.
-
Advertising – Helping the book reach swimmers, coaches, and dreamers around the world.
Every contribution, no matter the size, is fuel for this vision. By donating, you’re not just supporting a book, you’re helping ensure that the knowledge, stories, and strategies I’ve worked to bring together can reach as many people as possible.
The blog will always remain free. That’s a promise. But with your help, The Swimming Book of the Five Rings can take its first strokes into the wider world.
If you’d like to support, you can donate below.
Thank you for being part of this journey. The water teaches us discipline, resilience, and flow—and with your help, I can carry those lessons into this book for swimmers everywhere.
